A friend of mine asked me an intriguing question. For the first
time in my life I actually feel like I have enough of my own understanding to
give him what I feel is an answer. At this point I am going to borrow
from the concept of The Wanderer. I feel like I am coming from that place
of the creator and am looking in at him thinking okay I am going to wake
another one up. Kinda like Neo in the matrix, I'm out of the Matrix but
at times have to go in for specific reasons. I'm sure allot of people are
thinking I am full of it right now. The truth is it is strange being me.
The self I feel is it the self you feel? Are we all one person
having Billions of experiences? In a way I believe that's we are like
grains of sand molded into Glass, which shatters then grinds back to
sand,
"Okay I'll keep this simple and short.
200 years ago, we were nothing. We did not exist. Our brains
were not created yet.
We weren't dead, we were just nothing. We did not exist yet.
When we are born and as we develop, we live our lives through
all our senses.
Our senses are used by the brain, everything we see and
experience is in the brain.
So, before we were born, there was nothing. Then once our brains
were created, we have life.
If I was to take a shotgun and blow my brains out,
wouldn’t it be the same thing as before I was born?
It’s not a bad thing (no afterlife,) it’s just nothing.
Nothing is good. It’s like sleeping, except for forever. We
won't even know.
Makes sense?''
I was very confused when I followed people’s paths, but I feel like throughout life my understanding of my own self, as not just a creation of the highest thing in existence but a piece of it developed. Would love to hear how others feel about the subject or have anything to add or feel is flawed all together.
When my friend quoted above mentions before we were born there
was nothing, that's the fundamental flaw in his belief system. Before we where
born everything in the universe existed, even his own consciousness. I don’t remember being a year and a half old
but I was conscious. He’s relating not
remembering to not existing. Nothing and Everything are interchangeable.
Nothing gives room for everything. Therefore, nothing is Everything and vice
versa. Lao-Szu in Chapter Two of The Tao Te Ching makes an interesting point.
"As soon as beauty is known by the world as beautiful, it becomes ugly. As soon as virtue is being known as something good, it becomes evil. Therefore being and non-being give birth to each other. Difficult and easy accomplish each other. Long and short form each other. High and low distinguish each other. Sound and tone harmonize each other Before and after follow each other as a sequence. Realizing this, the saint performs effortlessly according to the natural Way without personal desire, and practices the wordless teaching thru one’s deeds. The saint inspires the vitality of all lives, without holding back. He nurtures all beings with no wish to take possession of. He devotes all his energy but has no intention to hold on to the merit. When success is achieved, he seeks no recognition. Because he does not claim for the credit, hence shall not lose it."
First I told him to begin meditating. When meditating you often reach moments of space between thoughts. With practice this space gets longer and longer and you achieve it faster and faster.

We can do that test right now without any one blowing their
brains out or giving birth. Meditate for 20 minutes’ focus on your breathing
and clear your mind. I know you’re not going to be able to clear your mind
fully for 20 minutes unless you have been practicing for years.
Notice that during the moments between your thoughts you are
still conscious. Remember the famous quote ‘’I think therefore I am.’’ Is
completely wrong. Should be I am
Therefore I think. We can't describe
that awareness because it is greater than our comprehension. So yes it is tuff because it cannot be scenically
proven and allot of groups take this and add on wacky stuff that is in no way
related. At the core this is sacred knowledge
shared by societies that had no connection to each other and where separated by
thousands of years but we see it again and again. That proves that we are not our thoughts.
That empty space is the source of all things.
This empty space and the attempt
to describe that space being higher than our understanding is also the great
artistic muse. I believe describing this
indescribable thing is the source of all art, music, and creativity throughout history.
When it says in the Bible "god created us in his
image". I hope you guys out there don't think that means God looks like a
human being. What does it mean to be created in the image of the creator of all
things whose image is impossible to even imagine? Yea that makes sense!
What is the only thing we can say about this creator... That he
created. There for when it says we are created in the image of god (which can
be described in no way except that it is the creator of all things). That means
the only thing we get from that statement is that we are creators ourselves
created by a creative force who’s desire is to create.
I am realizing it’s possible that that religion is a 2000-year-old
game of telephone. where all of it was lost in translation. I am going to look for sources to support the whole Blog Post For now Namaste. : )
